Prof. Zeynep Altintas  is Chair of Bioinspired Materials and Biosensor Technologies at Kiel University, Germany, and a leading expert in advanced biosensing technologies and bioinspired materials. She has authored over 179 scientific outputs, including journal articles, books, patents, and book chapters, and has supervised more than 60 researchers worldwide. H-index: 48.  Her pioneering work has been recognized with numerous international awards. Prof. Altintas serves as Associate Editor of Sensing and Bio-Sensing Research and sits on multiple editorial boards. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, she actively advises major European funding agencies and promotes international research collaboration.
